Since a few years the Hungarian Forint is a freely convertible currency. So many limitations felt. Since that time Forint and foreign currencies can be imported and exported freely, prices can be paid in every currency (in spite of that all our prices are in Forint, the Euros are just for information, except the marked exceptions) and foreigners may borough money.

Especially the last point has our interest at this place. Most time it was not advisable for a foreigner to finance a house with a Hungarian bank. A normal credit at a bank of your home country has been much cheaper. But also about this time has changed.

Together with a Hungarian bank we have now the possibility to offer a financing to foreigners - with a for Hungary very low interest that is also reasonable seen the most Western European conditions! For this standard product some regulations must be obeyed. On behalf of the common needs about income and financial situation the house must be registered as family-home and the value must be checked. Financing of vacation homes is possible of course, but not with product.

Important conditions: annuities credit with registering on the house, starting 1,5% annual payback, financing of maximum 70% of the actual banking value. Financing of all kinds of renewal and modernising for a maximum of 100% as well. Basic of the product is a housing loan of 20 years in Euro. Financing in Forint is much more expensive, financing in Swiss Franks are cheaper.

Financing of commercial investments is always possible, but this is a way to complex field to develop a standard product around it. We have the necessary contacts to offer also for your project a financing. Also about subventions for rural renewing and creation of employment we will be able to help you.
